Getting his start in the 1960's Greenwich Village folk scene, David bends musical genres by encompassing blues, bluegrass, ragtime and country. He's collaborated with the likes of Dylan, Garcia, Paxton, Ringo, Willie, Eagles and George Harrison (who cowrote and played guitar on "The Holdup").
“The reason man created stringed instruments. David touched them with a lover’s fingers and they moaned that true love right back at him. Wood and wire and flesh spoke.”
– Jerry Jeff Walker on David Bromberg
